Public and private COVID 19 emergency funding options
As COVID 19 disrupts communities across the world, a number of public and private funders have stepped up to help address the resulting health and other economic and social issues.
On Twitter, Kumar Garg of Schmidt Futures has been outlining emergency funding grant opportunities. To make it easier for people to find these funding opportunities, we pulled together this document, outlining some of the sources for funding (via grants and loans) related to the COVID-19 outbreak.
Private and government responses include research for testing and treatment as well as assistance for those affected, including individuals and small businesses. Note that these are just the publicly announced opportunities. Many foundations are also offering help on a more informal basis so also be sure to check with your program officer.
Also, if you want to find grants that have already been given out, see Candid’s great database here.
If you want to add an opportunity, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be updating this document as we come across more opportunities. There are now more than 40 different opportunities.
